Sara the Farmhand Part 2
Sara pulled up to Ol Jed’s farm and parked the car. She yawned and stretched, exhausted - Jed had her come to work for 5am . It was her earliest shift in the month she’d been his farmhand, and though she didn’t want to be there that early, she knew better than to upset him. Sara got out of the car, still in her yellow PJ pants and oversized red shirt. She checked her phone and saw it read 5:11am . Just a little late. She wandered around back behind the house to the farm to find Jed waiting. “Good morning Jed,” she yawned. “You’re late, missy. If I wanted you at 5:12 I would’ve said come for 5 and take an extra 12 minutes to yourself. But I didn’t didn’t I?” Sara winced, afraid of the farmer and his temper, especially how the last time he was so upset with her she ended up with a sore behind. “No sir, I’m sorry.
