Sara the Farmhand

  Sara had never had a job. Even at 27, the Kansas-born country native had always managed to avoid doing any labor of any kind - despite the warnings from her local pastor that idle hands are the devil’s playthings. She knew better, but she was lazy. But that laziness was coming to an end as she approached Ol’ Jed’s farm.  Ol Jed was looking for a farmhand to help him do some chores around his farm, putting a posting on the bulletin board at church. Sara’s mama had seen it, and deciding that her daughter needed a dose of reality for a change, called up and arranged for her to work for Jed. Sara protested, but her mama made it clear that she needed to bring home some money and contribute to society or she’d be outta the house, so alas, Sara had a job.  The brunette parked her car and walked up to Jed’s front door. She rang the bell and a few moments later he answered. Sara looked up at him with a bit of intimidation. Ol Jed stood half a foot higher than Sara’s 5’1 height. ...
